Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., arrived in the United States on September 8, 2025, to address the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and to galvanize support from the Liberian diaspora.
The Liberian leader and delegation were met on arrival at the Dulles International Airport in Virginia by the Liberian Ambassador accredited to the US Dr Al Hassan Conteh.
President Boakai's agenda at the UN General Assembly is ambitious, focusing on issues of paramount importance to Liberia and the global community.
