The President of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. is in the United States to attend the 124th National Black Business Conference to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. The President will deliver the keynote address at the Pan African Black Business Luncheon in the Grand Ballroom West of the Atlanta Hilton Hotel at 12 noon Central Standard Time on Friday, August 23,2024.
President Boakai’s delegation includes Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of State without Portfolio Mamaka Bility, Senior Advisor Augustine Konneh and the Chief of Protocol of the Executive Mansion Emmett Kennedy.
The Liberian Chief Executive along with delegation was met on arrival at the Dulles International Airport in Virginia by the Ambassador of Liberia accredited to the United States of America, H.E. Jeff Gongoer Dowana Sr. and his Deputy, Minister Plenipotentiary Isaac C. Yeah Sr. In brief remarks, Ambassador Dowana welcomed the President and entourage to the United States and wished the President long life and success as he traverses the world in seeking valuable partners to invigorate Liberia’s socio-economic and political agendas.
The 124th National Black Business Conference is being held under the theme:” We are Together”. The conference will run from August 21st through the 24th.
President Boakai departs the US for Liberia on August 25, 2024.
