Washington, D.C. - The Doyen of the Liberian Cabinet and Minister of Foreign Affair, His Excellency Dee Maxwell Saah Kemayah Sr. has hailed the staff of the Liberian Embassy near Washington D.C., for their invaluable services rendered the nation. Speaking during an informal zoom meeting recently, Minister Kemayah conveyed President George M. Weah’s gratitude to the staff for the sacrifices they continue to make in serving their country.
“I appreciate everyone, and let me make it clear, that without you there will be no Embassy”, the Foreign Minister noted. Minister Kemayah underscored the need for continued professionalism, honesty, and hard work. He assured the staff of his unrelenting effort to bring transformation to the Foreign Ministry through financial accountability, personnel development, and commitment to duty among other enviable initiatives.
During the meeting, staff members were able to acquaint themselves with and freely interact with Minister Kemayah. They rigorously and frankly cross fertilize over a myriad of issues with the aim of maximizing productivity and providing a sterling representation of Liberia.
The meeting was graced in person by Deputy Foreign Minister for Administration Thelma C. Duncan Sawyer, and virtually by Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs, Deweh Gray. Liberia’s Ambassador to the U.S. George S.W. Patten. Sr., and his diplomatic and local staff were in attendance.
