President Sirleaf Opens Two-Day Heads of Mission, Consular Corps Retreat

Monrovia, Liberia: President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Thursday, March 9, 2017 opened a Two-Day Retreat of Liberian Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions under the theme: “Promoting Liberia’s Transformation Agenda through the Liberian Foreign Service” held at R.L.J. Kendeja Resort in Paynesville City, outside Monrovia. 
According to an Executive Mansion release, the to-day retreat will constitute working sessions that will mainly focus on the Liberian Foreign Service; A partner for Trans-formative Economic Development; Overview of Liberia’s Development Architecture: Expected contribution of the Foreign Service; Liberia’s Investment Policy/Strategy: The Role of Foreign Service; New Automated Platform for Consular Service/Passport and Visas; Liberia’s Trade /Industrial Policies: Contribution of the Foreign Service and the Role of the Liberia Revenue Authority in the Management of Consular Fees among others. The Retreat ends Friday, March 10, 2017 with a Press stakeout...........
