Today, we stand tall and proud as Liberia’s name resonates across the halls of the United Nations, reflecting the collective dreams and aspirations of our great nation. I am honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., Her Excellency Foreign Minister Sara Madame Beysolow Nyanti, and their capable team for their tireless efforts in securing Liberia’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2026-27.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our government, the resilience of our people, and the enduring spirit of our forebears who paved the way for our progress. I pay tribute to the local and international partners who have supported us on this journey, believing in Liberia's potential to contribute meaningfully to global peace and security.
