Washington, D.C. : During her week-long official visit to the United States from May 12-18, 2013, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was actively engaged in a series of activities in the interest of Liberia and the global community.

Washington DC. January 30, 2024; His Excellency President Joseph Nyumah Boakai Sr. has assured Liberians that his government will do all in its power to keep their hopes alive. President Boakai in his first Annual State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered on January 29, 2024, pointed out " we all have what it takes to overcome all the burdens we have imposed on ourselves through greed and corruption". He pointed out “When we work together, there is nothing we cannot overcome as a people".

President Obama on Tuesday warned that the Ebola outbreak in West Africa is "spiraling out of control" and could see "hundreds of thousands of people infected" if the world does not act.
